What is low vision?

 Low vision is vision loss that cannot be fully corrected through glasses, contact lenses, medication, or surgery. 

Do you come to my home?

 Yes. Services are provided in your home where real-life challenges occur. 

Do I need a referral?

Yes. You will need a referral from an ophthalmologist, optometrist, or general practitioner.    If you have questions about obtaining a referral, we're happy to assist. 

Does Medicare cover services?

Yes. We accept Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), UnitedHealthcare (UHC), and many Medicare Advantage plans. As a courtesy, we will verify your insurance benefits before scheduling your appointment.   

What conditions do you treat?

 We commonly work with individuals experiencing:

  • Macular degeneration 
  • Glaucoma 
  • Diabetic retinopathy 
  • Stroke-related vision loss 
  • Other low vision diagnoses

How long are visits?

 Visit frequency and duration vary depending on each individual's needs and goals. Average length of your first visit is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
